Robert Pike is responsible for covering the department store sector and monitoring the consumer electronics sector. Before joining Global Credit Services, Mr. Pike worked approximately 20 years in corporate banking, specializing in the leveraged-loan, high-yield, and structured finance markets. He spent the past decade at Mizuho Corporate Bank and its affiliates, where he helped managed approximately $2 billion of assets in several collateralized loan obligations by covering the healthcare, energy, and retail/consumer sectors. In addition, Mr. Pike spent six years at the Bank of New York, splitting his tenure between the corporate credit and corporate development divisions – working on a myriad of corporate lending programs, M&A transactions, and strategic initiatives. Prior to his banking career, Mr. Pike practiced corporate law for the predecessor to Day Pitney LLP. He holds a JD/MBA from New York University and a BS in Economics from the SUNY’s Binghamton University.
