Gary Haberman, Director of Research

Gary Haberman focuses on the analytical underpinnings of the firm’s credit evaluation tools and provides consulting services to clients. Prior to joining the company, in 1999, he spent 22 years as an officer of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. In 1980, he served on the US Treasury team handling the bailout of Chrysler Corporation, as a Discount Window officer, and helped mobilize Federal Reserve System resources during the 1985 Ohio S&L crisis. In 1990, he assisted the NASD on the trading floor of Drexel Burnham Lambert Group, during the wind-down of the dealer. Mr. Haberman received his Bachelor of Arts in Physics (magna cum laude) from the State University of New York at Buffalo, an Advanced Certificate in Financial Engineering from the Center for Finance & Technology at Polytechnic University, and an MBA in money and banking from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
